Bookstore Romance Day After Hours Reception

“Summer is hot …and so are you,” he said. His intense gaze and warm smile melted me into a puddle, just like the ice cream I was forgetting to eat because I was staring at that mouth with longing – dreaming of the next kiss.

We at Chapter2 Books love romance in all its flavors. We are joining in the nationwide celebration of all things Romance on Bookstore Romance Day, Saturday August 9 all day at the bookstore with a free chocolate heart with all book purchases plus 15% off all romance books. 

Then join us to celebrate Bookstore Romance Day after hours! Chapter2 Books will be hosting a spicy romance lovers open mic at Black Rooster Bistro Saturday, August 9 starting at 7:00 pm.  Guests to the romance reception will be treated to a glass of wine, passed appetizers and romantic swag that’s sure to get you in the mood for romance. A grand prize basket filled with steamy finds from downtown Hudson businesses, valued at over $100, will be given for the night’s best open mic performance. So gather with us, take a break from the every day, and celebrate a little bit of ROMANCE!
