Event Description:
The course provides a simulated practice of recording verbal communication encountered during patient-doctor interaction and the recording of clinical events as they unfold. It also includes a study of procedures related to the retrieval of diagnostic test results. Procedures used in scheduling diagnostic tests, follow-up appointments, etc., are discussed and practiced. An emphasis is placed on professional and ethical behavior in a clinical healthcare setting.
  • Upon completion, you will receive a Certification of Completion from the American Healthcare Documentation Professionals Group (AHDPG) and are eligible to sit for the AHDPG National Certification exam.
