The mission of Operation HELP is to “provide residents of St. Croix County with financial assistance, a place for support, and connections to resources to alleviate short-term economic crises.” The purpose of these services is to help families and individuals remain in their homes and employed. Stable housing and employment empower individuals to be financially self-sufficient and prevent further dependence on social systems.
Operation HELP’s programs and activities currently include:
1. Emergency financial assistance—Payments to help with rent, utilities and car repairs.
2. Resource Center--Clients are provided with basic necessities (undergarments, food, diapers) and vouchers
for gas, food, clothing and laundry access.
3. Diaper Bank
4. Referrals--Clients in need of additional assistance are referred to partner agencies throughout the county.
5. Christmas Campaign for Kids--Helps struggling families by providing gifts, grocery gift cards, and
household staples during the holidays.
